Betsuni Futsu no Koi Filming Diary 14: Last Day!

From “Betsuni Futsu no Koi” Gallery.

This work was filmed for 2 weeks, from September 18, 2013 (Wednesday) to October 1 (Tuesday), in Biei, Hokkaido. These photos of the actors/actresses and staffs are taken by Ishida Naoki, our official cameraman. We’ll introduce you to the other side of filming.

■ October 1 (Tuesday) Last Day!

All that left is the ending scene of Kaneko-san galloping up the hill on his bike.

As the voice of “Yo~i, hai!” called out, the Super Cup began traveling on the vast hill.

That day is the first snow falling on the mountain near Biei, signaling the increasing coldness of the season. With just riding for a bit on the bike is no doubt intense, it’s it…

With the finishing filming of the last cut, check also OK! Smiles are finally falling out at the scene.

Haruo’s (Kaneko-san) beloved car, the Super Cup, is also soon to be dismissed. Doesn’t it seems a bit lonely to you?

With this, it’s really is all up! Kaneko-san’s last greeting!!

Director Sugiyama presented a bouquet of flower from the staffs. Really, thank you for all your hard work!

“Spending time carefully creating this drama is perhaps a first for me. I’m very happy to be able to be in this drama.” Kaneko-san said.

The same! We’re very happy to have Kaneko-san starring in this! (By all the staffs)

The location shot for the ending scene is the little known spot off from the main tourist area location of Fujino district.

With the sun rise or sunset, if you come here it’s a perfect spot!

The last toast! All casts and staffs, otsukaresama deshita!

From the left assistant director Nakanishi, producer Haneda, production – Yamaguchi Yosuke, vehicle – Chihiro, assistant director Ota, production – Hirao, production chief – Matsukura Kazuya, assistant director Hayashi.

From the left arts – Nanao, camera assistant – Matsuhara, recording – Sato, camera assistant – Oe, the person hidden behind is probably camera assistant – Mito, cinematographer Suzuki, DIT specialist – Harai Kaori, make-up artist – Mitsumoto, sound – Matsuzawa (Guts), sound assistant – Saneki

Kaneko-san and director Sugiyama also did the last toast, all that left is the editing!

Lastly, do your best at the PR and campaigning?? Kaneko-san and producer Tada had their firm handshake!

- And this conclude the last of the filming diary! I hope they will release the drama nationally soon.

- The names in here killed me (softly) with their kanjis. Even though I translated them before, I don’t remember them. I’m not sure if it’s the right one at all, so do correct if you found it to be wrong!

- Finally finished!!! Yay!!

- Tweeting this is like a count down to my death, have to turn in my homework on the 15th (by the time this entry is shown, it will be tomorrow). ;_; Who on earth would give homework while their students are busy stressing out over clinical anyways? It’s okay, don’t answer that!

- Not sure if anyone read this, but if you did, kudos to you! Hope you enjoyed. But I’m finally free!!! °˖ ✧◝(○ ヮ ○)◜✧˖ °

Betsuni Futsu no Koi Filming Diary 13: 13th Day

From “Betsuni Futsu no Koi” Gallery.

This work was filmed for 2 weeks, from September 18, 2013 (Wednesday) to October 1 (Tuesday), in Biei, Hokkaido. These photos of the actors/actresses and staffs are taken by Ishida Naoki, our official cameraman. We’ll introduce you to the other side of filming.

■ September 30 (Monday) 13th Day

Nicknamed “Haruo’s town” as the stage, we start with the picture that was shown at the beginning of the drama.

It’s a bit unfortunate, but the weather since morning is a light drizzle… Because of the muddy ground and its easy to change, the setups had to be checked carefully before continue on.

Kaneko-san listened passionately to the detailed farming work advices from the field’s owner, Oonami Tarou-san.

The important scene that determined the first impression of the show. The staff is passionately in a preparation meeting.

How will the sound of running and sweat be express after the sound recording? From the sound effects, Mimura is laughing while thinking about it.

Normally, this is a no trespassing field. In order to prevent dangerous foreign bacteria from entering, the staff have to put on plastic bag on their boot, a careful counter-measure against bacteria. (Assistant director Hayashi)

This is the first scene where Kobayashi-san ride the bike toward the field.

For Kobayashi-san, who never got a license before, specifically got a moped license for this drama!

All the staffs thank this actor’s soul!

After the staff took a photo, Kobayashi-san re-affirmed her majestic figure!

The scene where Kaneko-san plough the field in the tractor was also a challenge! He looks pretty good right? Ah, it’s a bit far away so we wouldn’t really know (laughs)

For filming the great important opening cut, the high rider (Aerial work platform) once again made an appearance.

Running up with all her might on the great slope of the gravel road is Kobayashi-san. Counting from the rehearsal and the real shoot, she dashed 5 times for us… Otsukaresama desu!

The world’s Takeshi” or rather the cinematographer Suzuki doing autopilot to film the opening scene.

It’s an important cut where the title “Betsuni Futsu no Koi” will be added on, since it’s a shot like a gem taken by only one person, please don’t miss it.

Once the cut was taken and the director yelled “OK!”, Kobayashi-san unintentionally let out a smile of relief.

With this scene is the last filming for Kobayashi-san, she perfectly performed as this story’s other leading part, showing both the bright and painful acting! Otsukaresama deshita for that long period of time!

Haruo’s (Kaneko-san) helmet is placed in the carrying  tray of the Super Cup.

Coupled with the sentimental of the soon to finished filming, perhaps it’s my own imagination, but a little heartrending float in the air?

Taking shelter from the rain at the red roof of a cabin that’s can be called a symbol of Haruo’s field? Or just looking out at something?

Or rather playing hooky? (Production assistant – Hirao)

Discovered a stag beetle (♀)! By somebody’s prank, it lies in the smack middle of assistant director Nakanishi’s back…

On this night is the barbecue gathering from the kindness of Biei’s town hall! With most of the casts already returned to Tokyo and the next day is the last day of filming, Kaneko-san is the only one left. With an absurd request of “Do something!” from the staff, he liven up the venue with his spirit of service. Both the vegetable and the meat are completely from Biei’s blessing! It was delicious!

Betsuni Futsu no Koi Filming Diary 12: 12th Day

From “Betsuni Futsu no Koi” Gallery.

This work was filmed for 2 weeks, from September 18, 2013 (Wednesday) to October 1 (Tuesday), in Biei, Hokkaido. These photos of the actors/actresses and staffs are taken by Ishida Naoki, our official cameraman. We’ll introduce you to the other side of filming.

■ September 29 (Sunday) 12th Day

We are also in the forest filming for this day. This time is from the shooting of the day before, a scene where Kaneko-san and Ando-san who are letting their feelings shown.

It’s an important scene that will affect the directions of their love, but Kaneko-san is so relaxed? He cheerfully talk and making the people around him calm down. By the way, the suspicious person at their right isn’t a thief, but the stylist, Tanaka Shie (nicknamed Shie).

Well then, it’s time for the real shoot! They successfully changed into their serious mode. And as expected, the direction of their love is…?

In the evening, we shot the climax scene at the nicknamed “Haruo and Ritsuko’s hills” in Rubeshibe district.

The filming preparation continued in a vast and spectacular 360 degree panorama scenery that’s just like Biei.

Using a high rider (aerial work platform) to thoroughly captured the scenery of the hills and town!

The person operating the gondola is! Doing a double feat of working the camera and naturally holding the level, that is the cinematographer Suzuki!

This time, we’re using the state of the art camera called “Alexa”.

It fully captured Biei’s scenery, the actors, and everything of the drama in high definition!

From one end to the other, the hill is completely a location shoot… In order to control the traffics, the staffs have to run around!

Happiness and pain… With all kind of feelings are packed into this complex scene, Kaneko-san and Ando-san’s expressions are also serious.

It’s finally just before the real shoot. The two are creating their feelings.

The filming ended safely. The brilliance sunset shining releasing the tension from before, the two also smile.

Co-starring together in a drama, they all became close. Because it’s the last day for Ando-san to film, even though Kobayashi-san and Fukuda-san didn’t have any filming, they rushed over.

After finishing all her cut, Ando-san finished her filming safely!

Ando-san, thank you for always showing your beautiful smile! (by everyone from the staffs)

On this day, Ando-san has to return to Tokyo, so everyone of the staffs created a passage to see her off!

“Kya~ It’s embarrassing! But I’m happy!” and Ando-san left, leaving behind her big smile. Take care~! See you again!

We changed location once again at night, filming in a barn of a famer family. This day had became one long day…

A scene with Kaneko-san and his niece, Sachi, played by Fukuda-san. Depicting a family relationship, it’s a fun and important scene.

It’s a challenging scene with repeated meetings and practices.

With their enthusiasm, an impressive and deeply moving scene was finished.

And with that, Fukuda-san also finished all her filming. As the cast one by one finished filming and returned home, the staffs became a bit more lonely. But playing this story’s key man, a difficult emotional high school girl, Fukuda-san was brilliant, really otsukaresama deshita!

Finally, a memorial photo with farmer Onami Keiji-san, who lent us the barn for the location shoot!

- This ends Fukuda Mayuko’s last appearance in this filming diary thing.

- I’m going to translate the rest, and I’m still going to tag her in the rest, since it’s about her drama.

- Two more to go!
