- The information was already posted on the Nihon Eiga Senmon Channel a week before, but to be honest, I didn’t really care about it since:

(1) It’s a special channel, where you pretty much have to live in Japan and pay to watch. (#ノ`皿´)ノ…━ ┫:・’.::

(2) There was no news of Mayuko playing an important part in the show, so I honestly didn’t care.

- Now that the site confirmed that Mayuko will be narrating (once again), I’m a bit more excited about it. However, I still won’t be able to see it, since it’s a special channel. (;´д` )

- Since they have 13 showing dates, I wondered if it’s going to be different each time, or the same for all of them, just in case someone miss a showing.

- This will be Mayuko’s first narration work this year. Though I’m glad, I still hope she will have more drama works. ( ´_ゝ`)

- On the other hand, I’m kind of depress that my streaming site is offline for FujiTV. So hope someone would upload the show “Shoujo to Tetsudou”.

Fukuda Mayuko (福田麻由子) NONFIX: Shoujo to Tetsudou (Update)

The NONFIX website just updated with the show’s information.

Date: February 27, 2013

Time: 26:32~27:32

“Railroad, a journey in one stroke”

A journey through the Chugoku region.

HiroshimaOkayamaTottoriShimaneYamaguchi – Hiroshima

Town, people, and scent…

Traveling with the railroad while savoring the special taste of the “landscape”.

Actress: Fukuda Mayuko

- I’m so confused. Now I’m thinking this one doesn’t have Hirose Alice, but the “Flare” movie does. I need Hirose Alice to update her information for confirmation.

- What does 26:32~27:32 even mean? Is it 2:32~3:32 in the morning? If they want to say 2:32~3:32, wouldn’t it be easier to just say that, instead of adding another 24 hours to it… (`ヘ´)

- The show will be out in around a day, so pretty soon. I’m not sure if I can watch though. I’ll try though (good thing I work late tomorrow). Hope it will be interesting.

- On another note, “Sakura, Futatabi no Kanako” website is updated once again with the Production Note and Staff page. They also added another picture of Mama Mamayu. (*´艸`*)

Fukuda Mayuko (福田麻由子) and Pakuburo

An excerpt from Pakuburo: The miscellaneous notes about 7 pugs.

Removing Stitches, Volunteering, and Filming

Januarly 22, 2013

Since it stops raining after the activities, we went on a walk.

6 pugs are walking, while Nagi-san is on the stroller.

While we were leisurely taking the usual course, there was a filming at Yamashita Park.

Because the pugs’ breathing may be a hindrance, we quickly pass through.

Similarly, we also hurriedly moving through while returning…

The staffs and the manager called out to greet us. Before, while the pugs are getting their pictures taken, I learned that Fukuda Mayuko-san is currently filming.

(I didn’t realized it was her because the filming staff was making a barrier from the outside)

When passing by the first time, I happen to see a chase (scene?).

Even though they were in the midst of filming, but because the staffs and manager remember the pugs, I gratefully exchange the business cards with the 7 pugs pictures on it. After given permission to look at them, the pugs were fawn over.

While the sea breeze blow its cold air against us, there was a mysteriously fresh feeling about the girl played by Fukuda-san.

Even though it’s the familiar landscape, like a piling of thin glasses, it changed.

I thought the actress is amazing.

After filming, even though she only has a little time in between, she came and meet the pugs.

That time, acting like her age, she is an exceedingly, lovely young lady.

Yes, suddenly becoming different like that, human can do it too. (Her personality toward the pugs and while  filming are different)

With her permission, I was able to take a picture.

As the pugs surrounded her, what an unexpected good fortune.

Thanks for reading.

Fukuda Mayuko (福田麻由子) NONFIX–Shoujo to Tetsudou Spring 2013

As usual, thanks to Mamayu-land BBS for the information.

FLaMme website updated with Mayuko’s newest work.

Fukuda Mayuko will be appearing in NONFIX “Shoujo to Tetsudou” for Spring 2013. “Shoujo to Tetsudou” roughly translated to “Girl and Railroad”.

When I google “Shoujo to Tetsudou”, Horikita Maki documentary series “Shoujo to Tetsudou” in 2004 will come up. From what I’ve skim through so far, it’s about a girl who boards a train on impulse and she travels all over during her Summer break. It’s about the scenery she saw and the different people she meets.

I guess Mayuko version will also be the same, where it’s half documentary half drama-like.

In the earlier post where I said fans saw her traveling during these past few weeks, it actually may not be for “Flare”, but for this work instead. So I guess this means that this may be the one that she will be working with Hirose Alice.

So if Hirose Alice is really in this one, then I guess the premise is going to be 2 friends traveling together and seeing the countryside.

To be honest, when I read railroad, the first person that pop into my head is definitely not Mayuko, but Kamiki. Just like how when I heard of the drama “Biblia Koshodou” I don’t think Gouriki Ayame, but Mayuko. I think if it’s Kamiki, he will go geek over this.

I can’t believe the news is out so fast… Or maybe so late, since the documentary is next week! Σ(っ゚Д゚;)っ

I remembered how Ceil-san was wanting a new drama for her, and Mayuko ended up getting a new work already. So fast. I think we all should just voice our wishes more often. ( ´∀`)

New drama please! New drama!!! (人´∀`*)お・ね・が・い☆ミ

Fukuda Mayuko (福田麻由子) Japan-France Collaboration Movie “Flare”

Thanks Rin for the news.

News taken from

As usual, I’m not going to translate everything, just the important parts. We can wait for an official source for the whole thing.

Fukuda Mayuko (18) will be staring in a collaboration movie between Japan and France called “Flare”.

The movie will be first screen in France on August of this year, and will be shown in Japan. The movie will also be shown in Cannes foreign film festivals.

The movie is about a photographer and a runaway girl meeting, conflict, and growth.

With Tokyo as its base, “Flare” is about a 40 years old French photographer Jan (?) meeting with a 17 years old runaway girl named Flare (play by Mayuko). Fascinated by the photographer’s work, Flare started working as an assistant, and before long, a love is developed. Facing the wild Jan, whom she is attracted to, while holding in her complex feelings, this is a difficult role.

The filming started in the middle of January of this year with the center of Tokyo as its stage. Though the script’s direction is handled by director Otsuka Yukichi, the photography director is a Frenchman. At the filming site, English, Japanese, and French are constantly tossed about. For Fukuda’s first challenge at collaboration film, “It’s as if we crossed all the nationals’ borders for this film. I think I’ll be more proactive in learning languages from now on.” She said while realizing the importance of communication.

Acting as Jan is the rising French actor, Valentin Bonhomme (32).

Graduating high school this spring, she’s also entering as an actress to an new stage. When talking about the similar timing of state of mind of someone stepping on a new path to life, she said “I’m very happy to work on this film now, not a year ago or a year later. I think it’s a role that I can only do this moment”.

- Around the end/middle of January, Mayuko’s manager’s blog finally updated after more than 2 years with the titled “2013” and the picture above. It talked about Mayuko is currently filming for a new movie. On twitters, there are also many fan accounts of Mayuko and Hirose Alice filming together, as well as accounts of her traveling to many different places. Well, good things to those who waited, because unlike before this news about this movie is really fast. It’s even faster than the news about “Sakura, Futatabi no Kanako”. They are even planning of showing in in August. Wow, that’s really fast. August = Mayuko’s birthday. I bet she’s going to have a lot of things to say for the promotion.

- Anyways, I don’t know who Valentine Bonomu is. I’m not even sure if it’s his name. Tried google and it gives me Valentine Bonomo, which I doubt is the same person. Thanks French link for name correction. Apparently Valentin Bonhomme was in the movie Victimes. To be honest, I’ve never heard of it.

- Director Otsuka Yukichi is the same director for “Soup” with Ohgo Suzuka, Hashimoto Ai, and Hirose Alice.

- I wondered how many times Mayuko play a “runaway from home” character. There’s Pandora 3, Heaven’s Door, and now this.

- I’m not really sure how I feel about liking older man thing to be quite honest. But since she’s the main role, I hope the movie will be told in the eye of the girl.

Fukuda Mayuko (福田麻由子) “Sakura, Futatabi no Kanako” trailer

This morning, the website for “Sakura, Futatabi no Kanako” finally updated after a long time. Not only does it has a brand new layout, there’s also Introduction, Story, Trailer, and cinema locations. So check them out if you haven’t.

The website also posted a new trailer as well for the movie, in which (thank the gods) it’s not blocked like most of Japanese media. So if you have time, please also checked it out.

Seeing as there’s not much else to say, I ended up subbed the video in English. Since it’s by ear, and I’m just a beginner level in Japanese, there are a lot of mistakes. I’m really embarrass about my lack of knowledge so sorry… >__<;;

After watching the trailer, I thought that Takada Sho and Mayuko are playing same age friends, but it turns out, he called her by “sempai”. So they have a sempai-kouhai relationship. Honestly, this was the main reason why I wanted to semi-translate the trailer.

Mayuko looks great in here. For those that like her soft curls styles from “3 Maime no Bodyguard” and “Mirai Nikki” will like her looks here. It suits her. I apologize for my superficial comment. ^^;; Mayuko finally become a mother. ;_; She grew up so fast. I love the way she looks at the child in the movie. She portrays that ‘being a mother’ expression so well, I was moved.

To be honest, seeing Mayuko and Hirosue Ryoko together in this, plus the crying scenes, the hospital scenes, and the cherry blossom scenes keep remind me of “Miporin no Ekubo”. Even Ryoko’s male counterpart (Inagaki Goro) is from Johnny.

The trailer has a very calming and sad melody, but the movie itself is pretty tame (it’s a human drama story so not expecting much). I think the subject of the movie is a bit interesting as it touches on the idea of reincarnation, which is a Buddhist ideology, and Japanese are majority Shinto. However, seeing as Japan are not really religion-oriented, I doubt the religion aspect will be focus on.

I think pretty much everyone will be able to guess the story from the trailer. ^^;; I’m kind of disappointed that Mayuko ended up giving away her child at the end. I think I like it better if she also has a part in raising the child (which I hope the movie is going to end that way).

Since the tickets for the premieres have been selling, fans/movie goers were generous enough to post up the information leaflets. According to what I’d read from twitter, those that got a chance to see it gave good reviews for the movie. They mentioned that the movie has elements of mystery, suspense, and horror in it. Interesting, I really can’t wait to watch it. But I have to wait until it’s out in DVD format. That’s like 6 more months, so around October? =_=;; Well, I guess I’ll make due with the promotion news.

The movie will be out on April 6th, 2013. Another 2 more months.

Fukuda Mayuko (福田麻由子) SUBARU Dramatic Cinema

I didn’t realized I’ve never talk about this even though it was last year and I’ve posted about it in several other social networks. ( ̄◇ ̄)ゞ スンマソーン

On October 26, 2012, Fukuda Mayuko had a short interview for SUBARU Dramatic Cinema, talking about a movie that changed her life. The movie is “Josee, the Tiger and the Fish”. After it, they also posted a story about the filming on their Facebook page.

Video is translated by me, please do not take and repost, it’ll make me cry. (´;ω;`)ウッ Because the translation is so bad that I feel really embarrass.

How was last night's SUBARU Dramatic Cinema?

"Shuroku Playback" will report on what happened while filming.
The fish tank that's reflected during the recording of the guest's story contain items that the guest is interested in at the moment.

Recently, Fukuda Mayuko-san is interested in making juices using a mixer.
Due to the health aspect, she has been making and drinking vegetable juice as well as fruit juice.
Fukuda-san recommended banana, yogurt, and lemon juice mixed. It's pretty tasty.
That's why this time, we presented 4 miniature mixer.

Truthfully this mixer is miniature lamp that the art team use to make the juicer-mixer. The miniature lamp that are used are produced just for this OA (Office automation)!
When it was shown to her, Fukuda-san was really impressed. With the art team's consent, they were given to her as a present after the filming ended.

- Other news… Hmm, I’ll just post it on a different post. :/ No point writing about what everyone already know. XD;;
