VOICE 03: 15 Years Ago

Okay, I'll amitted it. Episode 3 wasn't all that cracked up to be.

The team was split into 2 group after an accident with the culture media. Team Hanei (Sato Tomohito) and Teppei (Endo Yuya) learn the hard way not to mess with culture media. I do understand where the guy is coming from since it take a long time to do those!! Mole cell lab horor!! While team Kaji (Eita), Ryosuke (Ikuta Toma), and Aki (Ishihara Satomi) travelled back to Aki's hometown to find the reason for the death of Aki's mother. And for some reason, they totally ignored the current victim... :x

Due to the split, there aren't as much humor as the last 2 episodes. While Kaji's quirks still make me smile, the lacks of Hanei and Teppei interactions made me missed the two a lot, and also, the lacks of Aki teasing. D:

What I do like about this episode was that, even though the guys always teased Aki, they do care about her. I was really touched! Even if the director decides to kill all the romances, and just focus on the bonds of the five characters, I'll still love this show, especially after this episode.

I also like the transition from one episode to the next. Last week, they semi focus on Aki, which is the buildup for this episode. This week a little bit of Ryosuke is introduced for the next episode, which will focus on one of his close friend(?) death. I'm guessing the week after will focus on Hanei, and then Teppei. ^^;;

Looking from the preview of next episode, the team will semi splitted again. Team Kaji Aki!!! :D Ryosuke became emo. The guys getting angry at at Aki. I'll look forward to it.

VOICE 02: Tamago

Yes, that IS Eita. XD;;

I have to decide whether or not to name this Tamago, or The Last Supper, but of course Tamago wins. :)

Episode 2 started with a guy died from electrocution, on the way home from the store. Next to him was a bag/carton of eggs. A few hours before, his wife made an unhappy comment before she left the house.. After she came back, she saw his wedding ring on the counter, assuming that he want to split.

After checking out the crime scene, they decided to eat. Aki (Ishihara Satomi) suggested sukiyaki much to Kaji's surprise.

During the meal, Ishimatsu Ryosuke (Ikuta Toma) wondered if Aki can cook, which she casually replied, "of course". Of course, Kaji Daiki (Eita) told her that she is lying. "If you can't cook, then just say you can't!" Defensive Aki continued to claim that she can. So everyone told her to prove it and cook the next meal for them. Lol.

Days later, Teppei (Endo Yuya) and Hanei (Sato Tomohito) brought her some ingredients, and told Aki to make something and prove of her expertise. Which you can obviously tell from the preparation stage.
(As Aki was cutting up some carrots)
Ryosuke: That is not how you cut carrots!!
Aki: That's because you guys keep staring!!! >_<;;

Hanei also brought some food for them. He tried to heat it up but apparently the gas was off, luckily for Aki. But her quick change in expression cannot miss Kaji's eyes. The way Kaji imitated her sign of relief is very funny. Since the stove can't turn on, they decided to go to Hanei's Okinawa themed restaurant. More discussion with Hanei's mom, and thus Kaji got a quick idea that will later helps lead to solving the case.

At one point of the show, the professor (Tokito Saburo) asked Aki why she want to be in Forensic department. After a quick consideration, she replied that it's because she saw a movie and thought Forensics looks cool. You bet she's going to eat up her words later, because the next episode is where the team found out the reason of her going into Forensic. The begining of the preview for the next episode is so cute! When Ryosuke and Kaji called out "Aki-channn~~~!" XD;; I hope there will be an appearance of her brother too. I'm really looking forward to that. Professor also talk to Kaji about something as well, but I didn't catch.

Kaji: Such a troublesome girl! (mendosai onna)
Aki: Eh?

Kaji sure like to tease Aki, kinda similar to a young boy making fun of the girl he likes. It's cute! I'm not trying to ship them, I swear! >_<;; Kaji Daiki is adorable!

VOICE: Kaji Daiki is LOVE

I think I'm really in love with Kaji Daiki. Everything he does is just so adorable. <3 Eita is truly an amazing actor. The childish habits that that Eita made Kaji do is just so lovable.. lol.. I have to say, it's even cuter than Kenichi Matsuyama's L from Death Note, or maybe I'm just bias (but I love L too).

I've been waiting for this drama to air forever ever since I first heard about it!! Managed to watch the SP of Voice live on Keyhole because it wasn't my bed time. But I wake up an hour late so I didn't get to watch Voice live. Thanks to the streaming site from D-Addicts Voice forum, I just finished watching it.

When I first heard that the production staffs for Voice also worked on Proposal Daigakusen and Honey and Clover drama, I was quite worried, since I thought both drama were very very very boring. After watching the first episode of Voice though, all my doubts pretty much flew away. It's a very heart warming and funny drama. There aren't that much mystery, or at least not for me without subs, but the 5 casts' chemistry are there.

Ishihara Satomi (Kuboaki Kanako or Aki-chan) interactions between the 4 other guys are very natural. I especially lover the interaction between Aki and Kaji. There are not yet any love moments, but definitely the growing respects of Aki to Kaji is good. Even when she disagreeing with his methods, I thought they are kinda cute. Oh no, I think I'm starting to ship them. :x But the first sceen where Kaji was slapped, was hillarious. On another note, Satomi's hair is REALLY pretty! *___*

Ikuta Toma (Ishimatsu Ryosuke) did very well with his bottled-up-inner-feelings expression. Kaji and Ishimatsu actually do looks like best friend. I actually found him very enjoyable here (and the hospital scene with the nurse, kinda cute). Endo Yuya (Kirihata Teppei) and Sato Tomohito (Hanei Akira) are funny, but I do feel sorry for Kirihata though.

Even though it's only the first episode, aka I shouldn't be too quick to judge, but the first episode is good. Actually, the first 5-10 minutes did it for me! My favorite part in the whole drama!! When Kaji innocently commented on Aki's smell, Ishimatsu took a very close sniff, and the slap. Gahahaha. Too funny!!

I am a fangirl, so I do recommend it.

edit: DMT graciously wrote all about Eita in the Voice promotions that aired on Monday. Thank you very much! If you look at the Eita's tag, DMT-san also wrote about the Nakai's Super Special Drama Festival as well, which I also recommend reading. XD;; In facts, just do what I did, and read everything! :D
